Review: Angels and Ashes

Angels and Ashes Angels and Ashes by Avelyn Paige
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I took a chance on this story because it had high ratings, it’s probably good for the readers who love biker/club related stories. I’m just not one of them. For personal reasons I don’t feel like mentioning. Sometimes I’ll find one that I like. For me this is an 3 star story.

Darcy finds herself a widow after her husband died from supposedly a bike accident but she uncovers that it was not the thruth. She will go to no ends to avenge him. Raze, the clubs president will because her unlikely alliance to help her.

I just couldn’t get into it at all. I couldn’t connect with the characters mainly with the female character.

There are some qualities to this story, and because reading is subjective, the other readers might take a shot on this book and fully enjoy it. The other readers might make it work for them where it didn’t for me.

This story is told in a dual POV with an HEA. Authors work hard to gives us hours of entertainment, so I would never be unkind to the author I’m doing a review for. That being said , I still will give this author another try. She has plenty of other books that I could easily enjoy and would recommend.
