OMG! What in the living eck did I just read? I was rendered so speechless that it took me a while to form words to put on paper. I went in with blind folders on, because the inviting blurb did not say much on what kind of story this was. I won’t be revealing much myself because trust me the readers must enjoy this journey. This is a 5 star story.
This story sucked me right in the very center of deceit, lies and betrayal, it was a complete mind game. I’ve never read anything quite like this before. There are some stories that are sweet, cute, funny and sad but guess what, this is not one them. I was kept on the edge of my seat all throughout this story. I was blindsided with so many jaw dropping, eyes popping and WTF moments that my head was spinning.
A remarkable story with so many shocking surprises that shook me to the very core. An original story line that made me swear so many times in French and a seamless plot. So well written that it kept me on an high level of anticipation of wanting to keep reading for hours on out.
I wanted to hate certain characters but by the end I was questioning their motives. I was always wondering what would happen next. From the very first page, I was suspiciously intrigued, coupled with the mysteriousness and sexy romance that I knew was bound to be present, I knew I was in for the tumultuous ride of a life time.
Standalone told in the female character’s POV. I strongly recommend this story. All of E.K.Blair titles are all worth the readers precious time and money.
