Review: Salt Water Wounds

Salt Water Wounds Salt Water Wounds by Jennifer Foor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book I read from this author and I was pleased with the characters and storyline. This is 4 star story.

This is about Buck who has been a widow for quite a few years. He has raised his 6 children to the best of his abilities. But he was never able to move forward, now they all grown and he needs to find a back up plan. He wants to bye Alice’s bar, a woman whom he was attracted to but never made a move. Alice comes with her set of problems that might change the family dynamics. Both these families have their set of hardship but can work through it in order to move on?

This is was quite different from what I’ve been reading lately. They are more of my age range and with their teenage drama that comes with it. It was a well thought out plot and storyline that was interesting all thought out. Although it was very wordy it was well written. I was kept on the edge of my seat until the very end with anticipation of what would happen next.

This is the first book in the Salt Water Wounds (Oyster Cover #1) series. Told in dual POV with a much deserved HEA. Can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.
