Review: My Song for You

My Song for You My Song for You by Stina Lindenblatt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve never heard of this author before but the intriguing blurb from NetGalley made me want to get this book. I took a chance and it paid off with this 5 star story that consumed me from page one to the very last one.

Jared sees Callie for the first time after a few years of not seeing each other. He sees her with a young boy that could be the same age as his own child that his ex girlfriend aborted. The thing is, Callie is his ex’s sister. Lies and deceit will surface. Choices need to be made for the benefit of the child.

Wow! What an amazing story this was because I just love storylines that involve kids. They make the stories so much sweeter. I enjoy the flawed characters because they make them seem more human. I get to feel for those types of characters. This is not an overly sad story but one about second chances and making things right. Jared really did step up and took responsibility for a wrong that was done. Beautifully written, that flowed well. ]q

This is a standalone told in a dual POV. It looks like it’s the second book in the Pushing Limits series. I didn’t have the pleasure of reading the first one yet, I will get to it soon. The readers do not need to read the first one in order to enjoy this one. I strongly recommend this story.
